Who are we?
LingoGalaxy is a pioneering online language school for kids and teens (2-17 years of age). It is a leading international company with teachers and students from all over the world that come together to teach and learn. Language lessons are being held online through virtual classrooms via Skype or Zoom. You can see, hear, and interact with each other -like in a traditional language school- just online!
How are online classes conducted?
Our online language classes are primarily conducted via Skype, Zoom, or Google Meet. Individually tailored learning tools are used to create an environment similar to traditional classrooms. Lessons at LingoGalaxy are student-centered, addressing students’ unique needs and offering them the convenience of learning from anywhere.
How do I receive payment?
All LingoGalaxy teachers are required to use a PayPal and Wise account to receive payments.
How long does each lesson last?
The duration of the lessons can vary according to students’ attention span and age group.
How does the Teacher Evaluation System work?
All LingoGalaxy teachers are reviewed on their performance. After the completion of each lesson, students are asked to leave a rating score and feedback comment about their teacher’s performance. Only tutors with a great overall score are permitted to continue working at LingoGalaxy. Ensuring a good quality of lessons, with responsibility and expertise, is the key to teaching with us.
What do I need to teach at LingoGalaxy?
You need a stable internet connection, Skype and Zoom installed on your computer, and a compatible computer headset.
Do I need a broadband internet connection?
No, you do not need broadband. The minimum requirement is a dial-up connection with at least a 33.6 Kbps modem. However, a broadband internet connection will enable a higher internet speed.
